COVID-19 latest: 729 cases added, 12 more hospitalized

BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Maryland continues to see an increase in positive coronavirus cases. 

 

As of Thursday morning, 729 positive COVID-19 cases were recorded. 

 

Data shows, two more virus-related deaths have occurred and 12 more patients have been hospitalized since Wednesday morning. 

 

The state’s motivity rate is 3.64%. 

 

According to the report from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children's Hospital Association, coronavirus cases in children are also on the rise.
