BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Baltimore City Schools announced officials won’t require students failing classes this year to repeat a grade in the fall.
At a board meeting on Tuesday, officials said they are aware many students have struggled and experienced challenges due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Instead of holding students back, they will be tested in the fall and will receive customized instruction plans to make up gaps in their education.
