Today with Dr. Kaye: Rebuilding Haiti

https://www.agapeflights.com/haiti-earthquake-2021/

(WEAA)— On July 7, 2021, the president of Haiti, Jovenel Moise, 53, was shot and killed in his private residence.

On August 14, 2021 a deadly 7.2 magnitude earthquake devastated the country.

Violence, protests, and the shortage of resources are causing residents to flee and seek asylum in America. However, migrants are being met with “inhumane” treatment at the border, prompting outrage.

Daniel Foote, the US special envoy for Haiti, is resigning due to the deportation of Haitian migrants.

Foote says he will "not be associated with the United States inhumane, counterproductive decision to deport thousands of Haitian refugees” from the US-Mexico border.

Allen Speer, Chief Executive Officer of Agape Flights joins Dr. Kaye to discuss what is happening in Haiti, border policies and the 'inhumane' treatment migrants are experiencing.
