Bishop Douglas Miles, the former pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church and a respected leader in Baltimore passed away August 3 at the age of 72.
Bishop Miles was a passionate community organizer known for his role in the Baltimorean United in Leadership Development (BUILD) movement.
The Baltimore AFRO reported that Miles died following heart surgery.
