The Howard County Council voted last night to limit cooperation with federal immigration orders, but that doesn’t mean it is a ‘sanctuary county.’ The bill that passed in a 3-2 vote dropped the word ‘sanctuary.’ And, Maryland is joining Washington State's lawsuit against President Trump’s travel ban. Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh joined 15 other Attorneys General to file a brief challenging Trump's order to ban travel to the U.S. from seven Muslim-majority countries. The Attorneys General say the travel restrictions are unconstitutional.
