(WEAA)—Marty McNair, is a motivational speaker, advocate, author, and co-founder of The Jordan McNair Foundation.
The non-profit, founded in June 2018 by Martin “Marty” McNair and Tonya Wilson following the death of their son Jordan Martin Mcnair, promotes awareness, educates, and advocates for parents and student athletes about heat related illness at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels.
Jordan was an offensive lineman for the University of Maryland who died from a heatstroke during an organized offseason team workout.
