(Baltimore-WEAA) — WEAA’s Ernestine Jones co-hosted the 24th Annual Maryland Centenarians Recognition Luncheon along side broadcaster Lee Michaels on Thursday in honor of Older Americans Month.
Powered by the Maryland Centenarians Committee, Inc., the luncheon celebrated and honored Maryland residents who are 100 years or older.
Over 800 people were in attendance, including more than 80 Marylanders over 100 years of age.
