(WEAA) — A new investigative documentary is taking a hard look at the American healthcare system. Suck It Up, Buttercup: Trust & Betrayal – Healthcare in America examines corporate greed and systemic failures that have left patients and providers alike struggling.
WEAA's Deanna Neal spoke with Dr. Delician Haynes, CEO of Family First Health Care Center and one of the physicians featured in the film. Dr. Haynes discusses the documentary, common misconceptions about health, and her work to raise awareness around physician wellness and mental health.
The film is screening in Baltimore on March 19th at the Senator Theatre.
