Baltimore's Community Action Lab aims to develop Baltimore leaders

The Morgan News Hour spoke with Alanah Nichole Davis, Chief Storyteller for Baltimore's Innovation Center, about the Community Action Lab, (CAL).

CAL a 12-week paid leadership program for Baltimore residents that has already drawn 139 applications.

The program centers on community development, violence prevention, and environmental design.

Key partners include the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement and the Baltimore Police Department, with initiatives like the Multi-Agency Inspection Task Force and the Junior Cadet Program driving public safety and community engagement efforts.
