Maryland officials, community react to Ketanji Brown Jackson’s historic confirmation

(WEAA)—On Thursday, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson became the first Black woman confirmed to serve on the Supreme Court in the 233-year history of the court.

The Senate confirmed Jackson in a 53-47 vote.

Dr. Kaye, local officials, and community members share their reaction to Jackson’s historic ascension to the nation’s highest court.
