‘I think it’s bad for the citizens of Baltimore’: Sergeant weighs in on civilian investigators

(WEAA) “If I’m going to be a civilian investigator…. why am I investigating low level crimes when I thought Baltimore City, as a ‘progressive city’, we’re not even going to prosecute low level crimes.” - Dr. Kaye

Sergeant Clyde Boatwright is the president of the Maryland State Fraternal Order of Police and president of the Baltimore City School Police Union.

He joins Dr. Kaye to express his concerns regarding the Baltimore Police Department planning to hire civilian investigators to assist with low level crimes and the rights of law enforcement following the deadly shooting of Patrick Lyoya in Michigan.
