(Metro News Source) -- With her perjury and fraud trial inching closer to a March start date, the defense team for Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby is seeking a delay.
The move comes as the defense team is seeking to withdraw from the case.
In September, the court ordered that any additional motions to exclude certain evidence were to be presented by January 9th and responses were due two weeks after that.
The motion comes on the heels of a move by Mosby's attorneys to withdraw from the case. The prosecution says it has no cause for the court to issue a delay.
