Should Baltimore City be under a state of emergency?

Conversations Across America: Making Space to Talk About Race.

During this segment, Dr. Kaye continues the conversation on the recent mass shooting in Brooklyn Homes, the need for accountability, and the rise in juvenile violent crime.

Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby joins the show and expresses his concerns about the police department's response to the mass shooting and the cultural issues underlying these problems.

The two also address the confirmation hearings for Acting Police Commissioner Richard Worley and the need for improved education in Baltimore.

In the second hour of the show, Dr Kaye is joined by Pastor P.M. Smith of Huber Memorial Church and Marvin McKenstry, Jr., minister and community activist who also express disappointment in the current state of the community and the disconnect with younger generations.
