(Annapolis, MD) -- The 446th session of the Maryland General Assembly got underway in Annapolis on Wednesday.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott joins Dr. Kaye to share his legislative priorities of behalf of Baltimore City which include public safety and addressing the issue of vacant housing.
Dayvon Love, a Baltimore-based political organizer and the Director of Public Policy for Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle (LBS) also joins the show to share his knowledge on the state's recreational cannabis sales and its Community Repair and Reinvestment Fund.
The legislative session will continue into April.
