(WEAA)— Three Baltimore business owners recently sat down with Dr. Kaye to discuss the state of Black restaurants.

Casey Jenkins, owner of Darker than Blue Grille, Teaon Everage, owner of RYMKS Bar and Grille, and Joy Hinton, owner of La Mi Amore addressed both the positive and negative aspects.

They highlighted the challenges faced, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasized the interconnectedness of Black-owned establishments, and the crucial role of community support.

Additionally, the four discussed the impact of negative perceptions on Black-owned businesses and the importance of changing these narratives.
