Conversation with Princeton graduate Jahmal Lake, Executive Director of Our Kids Read.

BALTIMORE, MD – On Saturday, February 15th, from 10 AM – 2 PM, Our Kids Read will celebrate the grand opening of the country’s first free diverse children’s bookstore located at Eastpoint Mall.

The Baltimore-based nonprofit is dedicated to promoting literacy, increasing representation in children's literature, and ensuring that all children have access to books that inspire, educate, and reflect diverse cultures.

The bookstore has been stocked with books donated from Princeton alumni and Scholastic Books, which will be available free of charge for children in the community.
