Larry Turner, former Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Labor, joined Dr. Kaye to discuss his new book, Do You See Me?

Turner served as one of 17 inspectors general fired in 2025 by President Donald Trump. During his tenure, his team identified $191 billion in potential fraud during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The conversation covered the role of inspectors general in combating fraud, waste, and corruption, as well as the importance of diversity and merit in federal hiring. Turner also addressed the current political climate, the vulnerability of water systems to cyberattacks, and the need for civic engagement and voting as tools for accountability.
