Former Baltimore police detective Destinee Macklin launched Behind The SeamsX,a mentoring program that helps youth dress for success.
Following an on-duty tragedy in 2018, Destinee began stitching to take her mind off of pain, which in turn, inspired her to create the non-profit organization.
Behind The SeamsX not only motives and connects with youth but also builds community-police relationships.
