Baltimore Bike Lanes: Residents express concerns over traffic changes

Druid Park Lake Drive is a major roadway in West Baltimore that wraps around Druid Hill Park.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) is redesigning the two-mile section —from the I-83 ramp (Mt. Royal Terrace) to the north entrance of Greenspring Ave—to incorporate the needs of pedestrians and cyclists in addition to motorists.

However, some city residents are fighting back against the changes, citing traffic congestion and limited space for parking.

Former Baltimore City Council President Lawerence Bell and city residents join Two Way Talk to express their concerns over the new traffic patterns.
