(WEAA)—Amid Russia’s invasion, many reports and videos show Black foreigners experiencing brutal treatment and discrimination by Ukrainian officials as they attempt to flee the country.
“It’s really, really horrible what we’ve been seeing…”
Singer and activist Duwa, along with other volunteers are leading their own rescue efforts to help Africans and Black foreigners escape the war.
Duwa joins Two Way Talk to provide an update on her rescue mission and to address the mistreatment non-Ukrainians have been experiencing.
