(Baltimore, MD) -- In an attempt to crack down on stunt driving and racing on city streets, Baltimore City Council is taking action on the dangerous practices.
Two City Council members have introduced a bill that would increase fines for those arrested while helping police enforce traffic violations.
The measure comes after several council members say they have received complaints from residents of rowdy drivers clogging intersections and streets with dangerous driving.
The measure also penalizes anyone in the cars or on bikes participating in the dangerous practices. The measure now heads to a council committee for discussion and public comment.
