Towson, MD) -- It was business as usual at Tuesday's night Baltimore County School Board meeting.
The meeting came just days after several members of the board demanded that School Superintendent Darryl Williams step down from his job.
A letter was sent more than a week ago to the County Board of Education seeking the ouster of Williams over what the letter claimed was low staff morale, student behavior issues and declining enrollment. The superintendent has responded in a letter highlighting his accomplishments while at the helm of the district.
Williams was appointed to the job in May 2019.
