Infectious disease expert talks enteroviruses

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, enterovirus D68 (EV-D68) is one of more than 100 non-polio enteroviruses.

It typically causes respiratory illness, which can be mild or more severe.

Dr. Christy Beneri, DO is the Program Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Stony Brook Children's Hospital.
