(Baltimore, MD) -- An investigation continues into the discovery of a loaded gun in the possession of a student at the Booker T. Washington Middle School in west Baltimore.
Officials say the loaded weapon was found by a school staff member after the staffer was alerted that the 12-year-old had a gun.
School officials are offering very little information about the incident adding that there were no injuries reported.
It is not immediately known how the student came into possession of the weapon and why the student took the loaded gun to school.
