Should City Council members receive a pension after 8 years?

The Pension Plan Bill, a legislation allowing city council members to receive a pension after only eight years in office, passed by a vote of 8 to 5 on November 21st, 2022.

The Bill is currently awaiting Mayor Brandon Scott's signature.
