Gray family attorney Billy Murphy responded Friday to the Department of Justice announcement that it would launch a “pattern or practice” investigation into the Baltimore City Police Department. The investigation will focus on the department’s use of force, including deadly force, and its stops, searches and arrests, as well as whether there is a pattern or practice of discriminatory policing.
