(BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD) Baltimore County fire officials say two people were killed in an early morning house fire Friday.

Crews responded to the fire just before 7 a.m. on Denbright Road near Burnt Oak Road.
According to investigators, the 2-alarm fire started in the basement and spread to the first floor of the home.
One of the victims has been indentified as an elderly woman.
A Baltimore County firefighter was also injured during the fire. He was treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
