BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) Maryland Department of Health officials are reporting an increase of 925 positive coronavirus cases since Monday morning.
Data shows, 19 additional virus-related deaths have been recorded. More than 8,400 people have died from COVID-19 in Maryland.

The statewide positivity rate is now 5.4%.

Currently, 1,282 patients are hospitalized due to complications from the virus.
The state is in Phase 3 of its vaccination distribution plan which means all Marylanders 16 and older are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
