(WEAA) — To show appreciation for supporters of the public radio station, WEAA hosted a Turkey Fry on Thanksgiving Day.
Individuals were invited to bring a thawed turkey to Camden Yards for a professional chef to season and fry on the spot.
The event took place from 8am-3pm.
Special thanks to Chef Miles of Miles Catering, Brothers Who Can Cook, Sisters Who Can Burn, Chef Carl Shipp and Ujimma Briward Masani with The Cheffing Series.
With the help of Smalltimore Homes, fried turkeys were also delivered to 10 families in need during the holiday.
