(Baltimore, MD) -- City Police are investigating a shooting that injured an innocent bystander in South Baltimore.
Police responded to the 2700 block of Wegworth Lane for a report of gunfire and a short time later they were called to a hospital for a walk-in shooting victim.
The 18-year-old victim told officers he was walking down the street when he was shot.
According to the preliminary investigation, two vehicles were involved in a road-rage incident and the victim was shot when someone opened fire from one of the cars.
Police do not believe the victim was involved in the road-rage.
