(Baltimore, MD) -- An investigation is underway after a three-year-old child was struck by a vehicle in Baltimore's Central District.
Police say the accident happened Thursday evening when the child ran into West President Street.
Police say the child's injuries are not life-threatening but there is no word on the type of injury they sustained.
The driver involved in the crash remained at the scene.
