On Monday, faith leaders, city council members, and concerned residents gathered at a town hall in South Baltimore to discuss a number of issues, including public safety in the city.

ACT Now Baltimore, which is made up of faith leaders, set up the meeting to call for accountability and look at ways to reduce crime.

Rev. Dr. Todd Yeary, senior pastor of the Douglas Memorial Community Church, adjunct professor in the College of Public Affairs at the University of Baltimore, and commissioner with the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Civil Rights joins Dr. Kaye for the conversation.

He shares a recap of the town hall and what local leaders are doing to educate, empower, and connect community members with government officials.
