Segment aired Feb. 27, 2025.

Dr. William Moss, a professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, executive director of the International Vaccine Access Center, and deputy director of the Johns Hopkins Malaria Research Institute, is a leading expert on global public health.

Measles, a highly contagious respiratory disease, has raised growing concerns as cases continue to rise in Texas. Officials reported the death of an unvaccinated child last week due to the outbreak.

Dr. Moss joins Dr. Kaye to discuss the virus, how it spreads, and the critical steps to prevent its transmission.
