  • As the host of Mornings with Mykel, Mykel Hunter's warm, honey-toned voice is one of the first WEAA listeners hear each morning. The savvy multi-media personality delivers a deep natural passion for everything media and motivating and connecting with people from all walks of life. Mykel is a graduate of Morgan State University and is a sought-after professional voice-over artist who has worked for an Atlanta-based reality show, Empowerment Temple Church in Baltimore, and various other companies.
  • Guillermo Brown has continued the tradition of bringing the sounds of salsa and Latin jazz to the Baltimore community through Fiesta Musical, a program founded by Jorge Austrich and José Ruíz, and who passed away in 2006.
  • Neil Mattei, the musical prime minister, is the host of The Caribbean Affair, which airs on WEAA on Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. He has been affiliated with WEAA since 1978, and became host of The Caribbean Affair in1982 when the program was only on for four hours each week. His program has grown to include The Caribbean Exchange, "What's Happening," and the "Caribbean News Update." Neil was born in San Juan, Trinidad, and made Baltimore his home in 1970. Neil started pursuing his musical passion as a DJ playing at a variety of community events. He later became a founding member of the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Baltimore, and is one of the original members of De Four of Us Productions. Neil is a husband and father of three, one whom he calls “The Junior PM.” Neil stays active and visible in the Caribbean community hosting a variety of events.
  • DJ Patrick Scientific is co-leader of The Audio Infusion along with Jus-Spin. Patrick has most of the shows duties on his shoulders. Most of the scheduling of guests and programming of the show and weekly events goes through him. In addition to that Patrick maintains and updates the web site and the myspace page. Patrick is always in constant contact with record labels, promotions companies, DJs and recording artists themselves promoting the show and trying to get more music to the show. Even after all of the fore mentioned duties, he still ends up finding time to put together mixes for the show.
  • David Brown is the host of Real Questions, a weekly two-way talk show that airs on Sundays at 6 p.m. David Brown brings to WEAA more than 30 years of broadcast experience. He began his career at KSTP Radio in Minneapolis, Minnesota an ABC Metromedia affiliate. He later worked at WBMX in Chicago, Illinois when Tom Joyner was the Fly Jock. He returned to Baltimore working at WCBM (NewsTalk 68) an ABC Metromedia affiliate while moonlighting at WEBB Radio. Throughout the course of his career he worked for The National Black Network, WWIN AM – FM, WBGR while stringing for United Press International (UPI) and Associated Press (AP). He has numerous Distinguished Journalist Awards.
  • Karsonya (Kaye) Wise Whitehead is an associate professor of Communication and African and African American Studies at Loyola University Maryland and the award-winning author of Notes from a Colored Girl: The Civil War Pocket Diaries of Emilie Frances Davis; a featured Public Commentator for WYPR and Op-Ed columnist for the Baltimore Sun; a K-12 master teacher in African American History; an award-winning curriculum writer and lesson plan developer; an award-winning former Baltimore City middle school teacher; and, a three-time New York Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker.
